Overview
“VEGA AGRO” LLC was founded in December 2008. The company leases land to cultivate various agricultural crops, including rapeseed, soybeans, corn, potatoes, lupine, sunflower, wheat, and rye, and currently farms nearly 2,000 hectares. The company also owns a grain storage elevator with a capacity of 12,000 tons. “VEGA AGRO” is an active community participant within the Brusyliv Territorial Community (Zhytomyr region), supporting social initiatives, infrastructure improvements, and educational and healthcare institutions.
Brief Description of the Project / Technology / Other Specifics
The project aims to establish a modern broiler chicken breeding and production facility within the Brusyliv Village Territorial Community, contributing to local economic growth and food security. This facility will help meet the demand for high-quality poultry meat, create eight new jobs, and improve community economic stability. The key stages of the project include:
- Procurement of day-old broiler chicks: Acquiring and incubating young chicks.
- Early care and housing: Providing temperature-controlled, ventilated, and well-lit facilities.
- Broiler growing and feeding: Raising broilers to reach a target weight of 2-3 kg over 35-45 days on a nutrient-rich diet.
- Slaughtering: Processing broilers once they reach the desired weight.
- Veterinary care: Implementing health measures, including vaccinations and disease prevention.
“VEGA AGRO” LLC offers 1,600 sq. m. for broiler housing and 70 sq. m. for storage and support facilities, providing a foundation for efficient production and distribution. This project will enhance the local food supply chain while creating jobs and promoting community development in Brusyliv.
