Brief Description of the Project / Technology / Other Specifics

The project aims to establish a modern broiler chicken breeding and production facility within the Brusyliv Village Territorial Community, contributing to local economic growth and food security. This facility will help meet the demand for high-quality poultry meat, create eight new jobs, and improve community economic stability. The key stages of the project include:

  • Procurement of day-old broiler chicks: Acquiring and incubating young chicks.
  • Early care and housing: Providing temperature-controlled, ventilated, and well-lit facilities.
  • Broiler growing and feeding: Raising broilers to reach a target weight of 2-3 kg over 35-45 days on a nutrient-rich diet.
  • Slaughtering: Processing broilers once they reach the desired weight.
  • Veterinary care: Implementing health measures, including vaccinations and disease prevention.

“VEGA AGRO” LLC offers 1,600 sq. m. for broiler housing and 70 sq. m. for storage and support facilities, providing a foundation for efficient production and distribution. This project will enhance the local food supply chain while creating jobs and promoting community development in Brusyliv.

Advantages of the Project

  • Supports local food supply: Rapid production cycle meets growing demand for affordable protein.
  • Enhances community development: Creates jobs, increases tax revenue, and strengthens economic resilience.
  • Energy efficiency and cost savings: Alternative fuel boilers provide heating, reducing waste and energy costs.
  • Operational independence and environmental benefits: In-house soybean processing for poultry feed reduces environmental impact and ensures high-quality feed.
  • Expands business opportunities: Integrates feed production, veterinary services, logistics, and sales, creating growth avenues.
  • Minimizes waste and adds value: Waste processing yields additional products, like organic fertilizers, supporting sustainability.
