Brief Description of the Project / Technology / Other Specifics
The project involves constructing a CO₂ extraction facility that utilizes CO₂ extraction technology to efficiently capture carbon dioxide from fermentation processes. This high-purity CO₂ meets food industry standards and will initially be used for producing soft drinks in the Ukrainian market. This approach aims to reduce CO₂ procurement costs and environmental impact by recycling secondary CO₂. The initial production capacity is 1 ton per hour, with the potential to scale up to 2 tons per hour. At the first stage, CO₂ emissions will be reduced by 8,088 tons per year (34%), and in the second stage, by 16,200 tons per year (68%), lowering total emissions from 23,800 tons to 7,600 tons annually.
Advantages of the Project
- Reduces carbon dioxide emissions by utilizing secondary gas.
- Increases environmental sustainability and fulfills consumer and regulatory expectations.
- Establishes a local CO₂ supplier in the Ukrainian market.
