Project details

Charitable Organization «Charitable Foundation «IN-UA» is a non-profit organization founded in 2022 to save lives and rehabilitate military personnel and civilians who need operations to replace damaged bone areas by developing and manufacturing patient-specific implants. Organization was created as a result of a volunteer partnership, which from the first days of the war have been providing assistance to Ukrainian victims, as well as contributing to their return to a full life.

We are:

• A group of bio engineers, designers and material scientists.

• A team of practicing surgeons.

• Production company.

• Laboratory of 3D printing and testing of metal products.

• A financial instrument to support victims of military operations in Ukraine - a full cycle from planning to carrying out operations for the installation of customized titanium implants.

What we do?

Among co-founders and members of the fund there are are engineers and designers in the field of additive technologies, medical specialists, members of the Scientific Research Center for the Problems of Using Additive Technologies. As such, together with partners, we are constantly developing new structural materials, designing, producing and conducting laboratory research in the field of additive technologies and metal 3D printing using bio compatible medical titanium metal powder.

Due to this activity, 3D printing with metal opens up wide possibilities for the production of medical products. This technology is successfully used in traumatology, orthopedics, oncology, maxillofacial surgery and veterinary medicine, and is also practically indispensable in individual prosthetics or operations for the reconstruction / restoration of damaged areas of bone tissue.

Within 2022-2023 we have developed and printed more than 150 customized implants, and demand grows drastically with every day of the war and will be much higher when the war ends.
