Overview
The Raihorodok Territorial Community is located in the northern part of Ukraine in the Zhytomyr region. It consists of 21 villages and is situated near Zhytomyr (48 km) and Kyiv (188 km). With a population of 7,438, the community is ideal for agriculture, animal husbandry, berry farming, and tourism. It is home to 36 enterprises, including major berry producers and food processing companies, and features educational, cultural, and healthcare facilities. Tourism is growing, with attractions offering authentic cultural and outdoor experiences.
Brief Description of the Project / Technology / Other Specifics
The Industrial and Social Complex "Berdychiv-AQUAECO" aims to develop a network of industrial and social facilities on a 251.8211-hectare land area. The complex will focus on delivering essential products and services while creating approximately 350 new jobs. Key facilities within the complex include:
- TERMOSELECT-PRODUCT (5 ha): Thermal processing.
- TEPLYTSYA-PRODUCT (3 ha): Greenhouse agriculture.
- RYBA-PRODUCT (8 ha): Fish farming and aquaculture.
- PLODO-OVOCHSKHOVYSHCHE (1.5 ha): Fruit and vegetable storage.
- CAPCOLD-PRODUCT (0.5 ha): Food preservation and cold storage.
- VITROPARK (0.3 ha): Wind power generation.
- SONTSEPARK (2 ha): Solar energy park.
- AQUAPARK (15.7 ha): Recreational water facility for community engagement.
This project aligns with broader initiatives to establish interconnected industrial and social complexes specialized in distinct production or service areas. International interest in the project has been expressed by companies like Ybema Staal-Bouw Projects and ABM-AMRO Bank.

Head of Community Overview
Maksym Samchyk has served as the head of the Raihorodok Territorial Community since November 2020. His prior roles include deputy head of the Berdychiv District State Administration, head of the Chudnivska District State Administration, and head of the Berdychiv District Council.
