Overview

Novobuzka urban territorial community was formed on June 30, 2019 as a result of voluntary of the association of Novobuzka city and Novomykhaylivska village councils. October 25, 2020, when local elections were held on the basis of the new territorial system of Ukraine, to the community the Rozaniv village council was added. Thus, the community includes 1 city (community center) and 11 villages.

The territory of the community covers an area of ​​461.17 km2, the population as of November 1, 2023 was 18 039 residents.

The local economy has a pronounced agricultural specialization. The main thrust mok - crop production with the dominant production of sunflower, corn, wheat, barley, soybeans.

Brief description of the project

This project, of local importance, focuses on the city of Novy Bug, Mykolaiv region.

Novobuz Lyceum No. 7 is a key institution in the educational system of the Novobuz community. However, it was partly destroyed and severely damaged due to russian aggression.

The goal of the project is to rebuild the lyceum according to the principle of "Rebuild better than it was," transforming it into a leading educational institution that will play a pivotal role in implementing educational reform within the community.

The lyceum’s premises were last renovated in 1956. The project documentation for its reconstruction has already been developed. It is a two-story building with a total area of 5,300 m² and a construction volume of 38,900 m³.

The reconstruction project complies with modern standards for strength, reliability and durability. It ensures the safety of all occupants, including accessibility for persons with disabilities and those with limited mobility. The project also meets environmental, engineering, civil protection, and energy-saving requirements.

Additionally, the reconstruction includes:

  • A reliable shelter to protect against missile strikes.
  • A modern food block, contributing positively to children’s health.
  • Modern sports infrastructure to support physical development.
  • Energy-saving technologies, including solar panels and thermal modernization, to improve energy efficiency.

This project aims to serve the needs of both the local community and internally displaced persons (IDPs), with a focus on gender equality and social inclusion.

The project will benefit approximately 3,000 people. Children are our future, and we are committed to doing everything possible to provide them with the best opportunities!
